IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Thank you for joining the FirstEnergy Family Credit Union and remember... all FE Employee family members are eligible for membership.

UTTMA/UGMA (Minor Account)

UTTMA/UGMA Account - A Uniform Transfers/Gifts to Minors Account is an individual account created by a custodian who deposits funds as an irrevocable gift to a minor. The minor to whom the gift is made is the beneficiary of the custodial property in the account. The custodian has possession and control of the account for the exclusive right and benefit of the minor and barring a court order otherwise, is the only party entitled to make deposits, withdrawals, or close the account.
