FirstEnergy Family Credit Union would like you to apply for a scholarship. FEFCU is offering a minimum of (1) $2,000.00 and (2) $1,000.00 scholarships.

To qualify, the applicant must be a member or related to a member of FirstEnergy Family Credit Union and at least a senior in high school and plan to participate in post-secondary studies, including vocational, professional, and academic studies not limited to college and universities. (Previous scholarship winners are not eligible.)

2024 essay question: Imagine that it is your job to inform members about the advantages of credit union membership. Describe your marketing approach. What message would you want to deliver? What would be your tag line? How do you reach your members? Which social media channels would you use and why, be specific. Would you still communicate through more traditional channels such as email and direct mail?

Eligibility

One scholarship submission per entrant. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. Credit unions are not-for-profit financial institutions owned and democratically controlled by their members. Name/Photo/Print/Video Release Agreement

The undersigned hereby irrevocably consents to and authorizes the use and repreduction by FirstEnergy Family Credit Union (FEFCU), and its agents or anyone authorized by FEFCU, the right to use any and all photographs or other types of images, voice recordings, and/or video or writings that you have taken or recorded or that FEFCU has taken or recorded, with or without my name, for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to: purpose of publicity, advertising, banners, illustration, posters, publications, writings, and web content, in connection with FEFCU in print or electronically.

I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on the behalf of my estate release FEFCU and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from all actions, losses, costs, judgments, and expenses including–but not limited to–reasonable attorney fees arising out of or in connection with use of my writings, testimonial, and/or likeness authorized herein.
